We’ve donated thousands to NRDC, MSF, Anera, and the Red Cross to support aid to Palestine, Ukraine, and beyond. We also act locally by offering yoga outreach programs across DC including the DC prison, public schools, Christ House, and more. To keep the goodness going, just keep practicing with us at the studios.

Join Katya for a playful 90-minute Somatic movement and dance workshop that blends yoga, functional mobility, and free-form movement. You’ll explore how movement feels from the inside, helping you release tension, reconnect with your body, and find joy through motion. No dance or yoga experience needed—just wear comfy clothes and come as you are. All welcome!

Join us for a yoga workshop that includes meditation and an open discussion informed by Buddhist thought. Together, we’ll explore how, when we are under attack, we might reflect on principles and ethics of self-defense and the protection of others. Through meditation and shared dialogue, we’ll consider how compassion, clarity, and ethical action can guide us in moments of conflict or harm. The talk will draw on teachings by the Dalai Lama, Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, Lama Rod Owens, Sharon Salzberg, and others. All are welcome!

At Yoga District you won’t break the bank paying for classes… [There’s] a more relaxed and casual atmosphere at their studios, with students praising the positive environment. That is one of the many reasons Yoga District was voted the ‘Best Yoga Studio in D.C.'”

CBS

Yoga District staff and instructors are incredibly welcoming and kind… I love their variety of classes and locations. Since the pandemic they have made the switch to virtual classes so well – I hardly feel the difference. And they are affordable! I love their mission to make yoga accessible to everyone.”
